Subscription Update Obituary

    Donald R. Beaudin, 89, formerly of Howe Village, Spencer, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 at Golden Living the Hermitage in Worcester.

    He was the husband of Jacqueline C. (Vashon) Beaudin who died in 2003. He leaves two sons: Robert D. Beaudin of Webster and Leonard F. Beaudin and his wife Sharon of Auburn; a daughter, Marilyn J. Burdett and her husband Randy of Spencer; her sister, Muriel Dorval of W. Brookfield; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

    Donald was a steelworker for over 30 years at Coes Knife Co. in Worcester, retiring in 1983. He was born in Spencer, the son of Louis N. and Eva (Gouin) Beaudin. He served his country during WWII with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Gaudette-Kirk Post 138 American Legion and a life member of the Spencer Fish & Game Club. He was a member of the former St. Mary's Church and currently the President of the Council on Aging at Golden Living where he resided. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards.

    A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial with, Military Honors, will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Golden Living Patient Activity Account, 383 Mill St., Worcester, MA 01602.
