Donald P. Gregoire, 84, died Tuesday, January 3, 2011. His wife of 38 years, Harriet M. (Rauha) Gregoire, died in 2001. He leaves his two children: Nancy M. and her husband George Marr of Worcester and John D. Gregoire and his wife Josephine of N. Grosvenordale, CT; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Donald was born in Whitinsville, the son of Philip E. and Ida (Douville) Gregoire and graduated from Assumption Prep. He was a WW II Navy Veteran. Donald worked as a salesman for Sawyers & Somerville Lumber retiring in 1994. He also worked as a barber for 20 years. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.

Donald’s funeral will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St with a Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. A visiting hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on the morning of the funeral at the funeral home. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Massachusetts Association of the Blind Community Services, 200 Ivy St., Brookline, MA 02446.
