Donald A. Kelley Sr., 77, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012 in UMass Hospital. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Patricia (Bennett) Kelley; three sons, Donald Kelley Jr. of Worcester, James Kelley and his Fiancé Donna Jones of Fitchburg, John Kelley and wife Deborah of Dudley; two daughters, Kathleen (Kelley) McCarthy and husband John of Boylston and Theresa Kelley of Worcester; a brother, Richard Kelley of Smithfield, Rhode Island; a sister, Joyce Brower of Worcester; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; twenty-two nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Kelley of North Brookfield. Donald was born in Manchester, NH on October 9, 1934, son of James and Doris (Lawson) Kelley.
     Donald was a proud Korean War veteran with the United States Air Force and a member of the Vernon Hill American Legion Post. He was a graduate of Boys Trade High School in Worcester Ma.where he acquired training as an auto body technician. He later honed his skills working at Ronnie’s Auto Body for twenty-two years and Atamian Motors for eleven years. His hobbies included gardening and creating many craft items and furniture in his woodworking shop. Donald was a most wonderful and loving family man.
     A Memorial Mass for Donald will be held on Saturday, September 22, at 11 a.m. in Saint John’s Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Saint John’s Food for The Poor, 44 Temple Street, Worcester, MA 01604 or to The American Cancer Society, 350 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA 01604.
