Dona R. (Dufresne) Jacques, 86, of 667 Washington St., Auburn, formerly of Leicester, died Sunday, June 21 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
She was the wife of Ernest L. Jacques who died in 1988. She leaves two stepsons, Gerald Jacques and his wife Lucille of Rochdale, and Allen Jacques and his wife Marilyn of Mallot, Wash.; a step daughter, Dorothy Eggleston and her husband Robert of Rochdale; 12 step grandchildren, many step great and great great grandchildren.
Born in Oxford, she was the daughter of Arthur and Rosalma (LaPlante) Dufresne.
Dona was a longtime volunteer for the Leicester Nutrition Program, a member of the Senior Citizen Club of Leicester and the Red Hat Society in Leicester.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 24 from the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St.Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 491 Pleasant St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the funeral on Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
