    Denyse (Rousseau) Fortin, 77, a resident of the Holy Trinity Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Worcester, died Friday, November 5, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital, surrounded by her loving daughters.

    Her husband of 41 years, Ronald F. Fortin, died in 1997.

    She leaves three daughters, Madeleine Vienneau and her husband Michael; Julie Keller and her husband Raymond; and Judith DeLaGarza and her husband Ruben; two grandsons, Philip and Benjamin Keller; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Fortin; nieces and nephews. She also leaves her best friends, Ginny and Richard Barriere. Her brother, Arthur Rousseau of Canada, died in 2005.

    Denyse was born in Montmagny, Quebec, Canada, daughter of Philippe and Alice (LaFramboise) Rousseau. She lived in Quebec City from 1945 to 1955, before moving to Worcester.

    She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish and the Worcester Art Museum.

    Denyse's family is so grateful to the entire staff at the Holy Trinity Nursing Home for all of the loving care that she received throughout the years that she lived there. They are also grateful for the skilled and compassionate care provided by the staff at St. Vincent Hospital.

    Calling hours at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, are Sunday, Nov. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral will be held Monday, Nov. 8 from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 25 Fales St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
