Delphine (Bourque) Gauvin, 83, of Worcester died on Wednesday December 20, in her home after an illness.

Mrs. Gauvin is predeceased by her husband Thomas Gauvin who died in 1996. She is survived by six sons Paul Gauvin and his wife Suzanne of Worcester, John Gauvin and his wife Karen of Charlton, Roger Gauvin of Worcester, Robert Gauvin and his wife Deborah and Norman Gauvin and his wife Maureen all of Dudley and Richard Gauvin of Worcester; three daughters Angela Allain of Millbury, Louise Gauvin and Joanne Turner both of Worcester; four brothers Charles Bourque of Haverhill, William Bourque of Worcester, Roger Bourque of Canada and Gerald Bourque of Florida; three sisters Alice Arsenault, Eva Dellaire both of Haverhill and Theresa Saulnier of Worcester; 19 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Mrs. Gauvin is also predeceased by two brothers Joseph Bourque and Benoit Bourque and two sisters Marie Bourque and Mary Ann Bourque.

She was born in Moncton, Canada daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Arsenault) Bourque and was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church.

The funeral will be held on Saturday December 23, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 9 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church 53 Illinois St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 22 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association P.O.
