Deborah A. (Stone) Daunais, 54, of Worcester, died on Monday, June 14th at home after an illness.

    Deborah is survived by her husband of 27 years, John J. Daunais; 2 daughters, Jennifer A. Thebodo of Millbury, MA and Sarah L. Daunais of Worcester; her mother, Geraldine (Lynch) Stone of Worcester; 3 brothers, Martin Stone and his longtime companion, Judith Durkee of Gardner, MA, William Stone of NH and Philip Stone and his wife Suzy of Providence, RI; 4 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester daughter of the late Henry Stone and is also predeceased by a sister Helen Hamilton who died in 1996.

    Deborah is a graduate of Doherty Memorial High School and worked for the United States Postal Service as a mark up clerk at the East Central Street Post Office.

    A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 22 at 10 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Friends and family are invited to gather at the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. on Monday, June 21st from 7 to 9 PM.
