David A. Wheeler, 64, of 72 Granite St., died Monday October 24, 2005, at UMASS Hospital, from injuries he suffered after falling from a rooftop where he was working. He Leaves his beloved wife and best friend of 21 years Diane M. (Mahoney) Wheeler, Five sons: James Wheeler, Raymond Wheeler, Timothy Wheeler, Richard Mailea and his fiance Rebecka Warren, David Ward and his wife Darlene all of Worcester. Two daughters Jessica Mantha and her husband her Michael of Palmer, And Erica Chiras and her husband Robert of Worcester. His mother Marjorie A.(Brackett) Wheeler; and sister Jane and her husband Raymond Austin, all of Thompson, CT; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Michael and Matthew Mantha, Bayleigh Chiras, Kayla, James and Christopher Wheeler, Corey Ward. many nieces and nephews. A brother, Raymond Wheeler, pre-deceased him. He was born in Ayer, MA. the son of the late Raymond Wheeler, he has lived in Worcester most of  his life. He served in the United States Marine Corps, and was a very proud MARINE!


Mr. Wheeler was a roofer for many years , most recently with Crocker Architectural Sheet Metal Company. He loved watching his beloved RED SOX and PATRIOTS,he played and sponsored many park league football and softball teams. He loved going to Foxwoods and traveling with his wife. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and playing with his grandkids.
