Subscription Update Obituary

    Daniel K. Thomaszewicz, formerly of Auburn, MA and Portland, ME, died on December 19, 2010 in Punta Gorda, FL. He was born November 11, 1937 in Portland Maine, the son of Florence (Willard) and John Thomas. He graduated from Portland High School and joined the United States Air Force. On completion of his military service he married Priscilla Duclos and moved to Auburn, MA where they raised their four children.

    He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Thomaszewicz of Punta Gorda; three sons: Daniel Thomaszewicz, Jr. of Glen Burnie, MD, John Thomaszewicz of Dedham, MA, Paul Thomaszewicz of Oxford, MA and his daughter, Julie LaPlante of Whitinsville, MA; his six sisters: Beverly Gray and her husband Steve of Holland, Loretta Arsenault and her husband Frank of Port Charlotte, FL, Nancy Deluca of Old Orchard Beach, ME, Karen Greer and her husband Robert of Portland, ME, and Kathy Keenan and her husband Mike of Gray, ME; his five grandchildren: Troy, Ryan, Ross, Nicholas and Lewis.

    A memorial celebration of Dan’s life will be held on Saturday, January 8th at 10 AM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn, MA. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flower, please make a donation in the memory of Daniel Thomaszewicz to your local food bank or to the Diabetes Association.
