Constantina (Kontoes) Finney, 90, died Saturday, September 25, 2010. She leaves two brothers, Arthur Kontoes in AR and Andrew Kontoes in PA; several nephews and nieces including, Casandra Young of Spencer, Brian Dreyer of Charlton, Robert Dreyer, Diamond Shays, Nardine Banfill, Star Clifford, Theodora Dreyer and William Dreyer, all of Worcester; and many great nephews and great nieces. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Ellen Dreyer in 1987 and six brothers, James, Peter, Harry, Nicholas, George and William. She was born in Haverhill, daughter of Alexander and Julia (Ramallette) Kontoes and was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Constantina was a nurse's aide at the former Worcester City Hospital and Worcester State Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday, October 2, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., with a Service at 10:00 AM in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A visiting hour will be held from 8:30-9:30 AM on Saturday, October 2 in the funeral home.
