Constance Chelins “Connie” (Bleau) Flynn, 100, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, May 30, 2025 at Sterling Village. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Raymond P. “Ray” Flynn, in 1995.

Connie leaves her loving family: sons, Richard P. and wife Christine, of Harwich, James G. and wife Cynthia, of Millbury, Donald R. and wife Deborah, of Holden, Timothy L. and wife Kate, of Oxford, and Barry M. , of Yulee, FL; daughter, Diana Keaney and husband Stephen, of Groton; seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, whom she adored; and a special niece, Phyllis Collins Gallant. She was predeceased by her beloved granddaughter, Heather Flynn; and her siblings, Blanche Collins, Rita Bleau, Freeland Bleau, J. Clarence Bleau, Wilfred Bleau, and Wesley Bleau.

Connie was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Alfred and Rosanna (Berard) Bleau. She was raised and educated in Worcester, a Class of 1943 graduate of Commerce High School.

After marrying her beloved Ray, they moved to Auburn to raise their family . They were original parishioners of North American Martyrs Church, where she was Past President of the Women’s Club. Connie and Ray enjoyed square dancing for many, many years, and she continued to enjoy line dancing at the Auburn Senior Center until she was 90. She remained very active at the senior center, and enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels, was a medical escort and participated in other volunteer activities, for which she received several awards.

Connie retired as Retail Manager at Arnold Thrift Store, and in her free time, she enjoyed sewing. She loved music and sang for many years in the Auburn Community Chorus.
In lieu of flowers, Connie’s family requests that donations can be made in her memory to Kateri’s Kitchen Food Pantry, checks payable to North American Martyr’s Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn, MA 01501.

The family would like to thank the staff of Sterling Village, where she was well cared for over the last 5 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Flynn family between 4 – 7 PM on Friday June 6th at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday June 7th at North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn, with burial to follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
