Subscription Update Obituary

     Colleen M. (Popham) Rochefort, 86, of Charlton St. in the Rochdale section of Leicester died Tuesday, March 4 in The Meadows of Leicester.

     Her husband Edmond A. Rochefort died in 1999. She leaves three sons; Paul E. Rochefort and his wife Veronica of Auburn, Dennis A. Rochefort and his wife Elaine of Worcester, Gerald B. Rochefort and his wife Patricia of Rochdale, a daughter Colleen B. Bovick and her husband Robert of West Boylston, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a grandson Dennis Rochefort, Jr. and 11 siblings.

     Mrs. Rochefort was born in Worcester, daughter of William C. and Lottie E. (Ellis) Popham. She enjoyed bingo, playing the lottery and going to the casino. She was an avid knitter and donated many items to various organizations over the years. She always loved cooking and entertaining for her large family and many friends. She grew up on Massasoit Road in Worcester before moving to Rochdale in 1972. The family would like to thank the staff at the Meadows of Leicester for their compassionate care.

     The Funeral will be held Friday, March 7 with a Service at 11:00 AM in MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Barton Center for Diabetes Education, 30 Ennis Road, P.O. Box 356, North Oxford, MA 01537-0356.
