Clementine Theresa Marie (Lucchesi) Jones, 73, of Worcester, MA, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend too many passed away peacefully at her home on September 13, 2013.
     She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Barbara White, Bonnie Larssen Young, Parlee Jones-Thompson, Tracy Dankwah and Aretha Kharashqah; her son-in-law, Charles Thompson; 10 grandchildren, Heather, Stefanie, Lauren, and Christine of Arkansas, LaDorsche from Texas, and Jahnoy, Imnet, Sha-Asia, Born and Sumaiyyah of Worcester; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She also leaves behind her husband, W.J. Jones; a sister, Mimi Fitzpatrick and her husband Paul; a brother, James Lucchesi and his wife Sharon, all who loved and adored her. A brother, Clement Haskins, as well as her parents, predeceased her.
     Clementine was born in Ayer, a daughter of the late Michael and Lucia (Landano) Lucchesi. She grew up in Littleton and graduated from Littleton High School class of 1959. She moved to Worcester in 1968 where she has lived ever since.
     Clementine loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren who were her pride, joy and inspiration in life.
     Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Thursday, September 19, 10:30 am to 12 noon in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME and CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral service will follow at 12 noon. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Abby’s House Inc., 52 High St., Worcester or the Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA.
