Subscription Update Obituary

     Christina M. “Tina” (Ruberti) Jankowski, 90 of Worcester passed away peacefully Sunday January 6th 2013. She was surrounded by her children during her final days.
     Christine’s husband of 37 years, Henry Jankowski passed away 20 years ago on January 16th 1993. She is survived by the family she loved so much, her daughter and best friend Janet M. Jankowski of Worcester, her daughter Dianna S. Parker and her husband Victor of Farmington, New Hampshire, her son Kenneth M. Jankowski and his wife Mary Lynn of Shrewsbury; three grandchildren she cherished, Jaclyn M. and Jessica L. Jankowski and Cara V. Parker; two brothers, Aurelio “Babe” Ruberti of Leominster, and James Ruberti Jr. of Hyannis; many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Two brothers, Elvio and Silvio Ruberti predeceased her. Tina, born in Clinton, was one of five children born to James and Assunta “Suzie” (DioDatti) Ruberti.
     Tina was a member of St Joan of Arc Church. In her earlier years she volunteered to help feed the elderly at Lincoln Village. She enjoyed sitting outdoors, her neighbors, and crocheting. In her later years Tina enjoyed playing Pokeano with her friends. Most of all, Tina was selfless and completely dedicated to her family.
     Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family Tuesday January 8th 2013 from 4 PM to 7PM in the MERCANDANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, January 9th from the funeral home with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
