Catherine M. (Dunn) Dec, 78, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Her husband of 27 years, Jacob Dec, died in 1985. She leaves two sons: John Dec and his wife Michelle and Michael Dec and his wife Lisa; two daughters: Mary Ann Dec and Theresa Fitzgerald and her husband Timothy; a brother, Ronald Dunn; and 5 grandchildren: Lauren, Linzi, Ryan, John, and Jenna.
She was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, daughter of Annie (MacKinnon) and Ronald Dunn. Catherine was a registered nurse and retired from Knollwood Nursing Home in 1995 after 17 years. She was an active member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish and was a committed adorer at St. George's Eucharistic Adoration Chapel. Her greatest loves were her family, her grandchildren, and her faith.
The Funeral will be held from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Friday, June 12th with an 11 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
