Subscription Update Obituary

   Catherine E. “Kitty” (Pielaszczyk) Bartzak, 92, of 52 Country Club Blvd, died Friday, August 11th, in her home. Her husband, Edmund S. Bartzak, died in 2001.

   She leaves a son, Mitch Bartzak of Worcester; three daughters, Dolores Boronski of Walpole, ME., Lucia Rousseau of Spencer and Barbara Molis of Meriden, CT.; four sisters, Hattie Horan, Helen Kasprzak and Theresa Rudzinski, all of Worcester and Jane Jasaitis in Florida; nine grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Teofil and Alexsandra (Pisovocki) Pielaszczyk and lived here all her life.

   Mrs. Bartzak was a sales clerk several years and worked for Jordan Marsh Co. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and was a gift shop volunteer many years at St. Vincent Hospital on Winthrop St. She graduated from St. Mary’s School.

   The Memorial Mass will be held on Monday August 21, at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL SERVICE, 33 Ward St., is directing arrangements.
