Subscription Update Obituary

     Carolyn A. (Mazeika) Pastor, 80, of Worcester, died Wednesday, April 10th 2013 in her home surrounded by her family. Her husband of 52 years Richard C. Pastor died in 2011. She leaves three sons, David R. Pastor of Pompano Beach, FL, Brian J. Pastor and his wife, Judith of Rutland and Kenneth C. Pastor and his wife, Christine of Douglas; two daughters, Patricia A. Voss of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Kathleen J. Pastor of Worcester; a brother, Daniel M. Mazeika of Stoneham; eight grandchildren, Kelly, Anthony and Olivia Pastor, Aaron, Benjamin, Daniel and Elyssa Pastor and Stephanie Voss; two great-grandchildren Brittany and Kendra Voss; her sister-in-law Rosemary Pastor of Worcester and several nephews and nieces and close friends.
     She was born in Worcester, the daughter of John and Anna (Vacius) Mazeika; and was a graduate of South High School. In her younger years Carolyn’s interests were basketball and skating and later an avid Boston Bruins fan. Mrs. Pastor had been employed by State Mutual Insurance Company as an account representative. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish. Carolyn was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt who enjoyed time spent with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling and was active as a benefactor to many charitable organizations. As a frequent patron of the Webster House Restaurant Carolyn became close friends with the owners and staff as well as the restaurant regulars, and enjoyed her Lottery and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
     Calling hours are Sunday, April 14th from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Her funeral will be held Monday, April 15th in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
