Subscription Update Obituary

Carol A. (Shepard) Nisula, 75, of Worcester, died on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in her home.

Mrs. Nisula was married for 45 years to the late Paul W. Nisula, who died in 2013. She is survived by her brother, Wayne Shepard and his wife, Diane of Sturbridge and many nephews and nieces. Carol was born in Worcester, daughter of the latte Elmer and Amy (St. John) Shepard.

Carol worked for over 30 years at Saint Vincent Hospital as a nurse’s aide. She was an avid traveler and was always looking forward to her next cruise with her husband or her brother and sister in law.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 1 from 10 to 11:30 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Burial will be held privately in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004.
