Northborough – Brian T. Kinney, 53 a resident of Northborough since 1993, died June 18 at his home.
Born in Worcester and raised in Holden, Mr. Kinney was the son of the late Theodore Kinney and Mary (Connors) Gerdauskas. He graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1965, and attended Worcester State College and Framingham State College.
He worked as a software engineer at Digital Equipment Corp. and Data General. In 1998 he moved to EMC Corp. He enjoyed camping, reading, and playing golf. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He leaves his wife of 24 years, Barbara L. (Tagoff); two daughters, Kimberly M. Of Worcester, and Amanda L. of Northborough; six grandchildren; three step-daughters, Jessica Stroker of Dorchester, Kristen Willard of Barre, and Shannon Stroker of Shrewsbury; his stepfather, Albert Gerdauskas; and a half-brother, Teddy Kinney of Mustang, Okla.
A graveside service was held Thursday in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
