Subscription Update Obituary

Brian A. Kent, 53, of Worcester died Tuesday, October 14th at home surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 30 years, Katerina (Karamanos) Kent; his mother, Sharon (King) Kent of Sutton; his children, Caitlin A. Kent and her fiancé, Seth Perrin of Gardner, Jamie M. Kent, Demetre A. Kent, and Connor J. Kent all of Worcester; a sister, Jennifer Rossi and her husband, Ronald of Sutton; and a grandson, Dean Perrin. He also leaves extended family and friends including, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Alan B. Kent and his brother, Kevin Kent.

Born in Worcester and graduated from Worcester Vocational High School. He worked for Reliant Medical Group for over 20 years, where he was part of the durable medical equipment department. Most recently, he was employed as a truck driver with Schneider Trucking.

Brian was a hardworking and dedicated man who took pride in his work and always gave his best to everything he did. Outside of work, he enjoyed gold prospecting and camping at Twin Rive in Bath, New Hampshire. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others and was always known for his kindness and reliability.

Above all, Brian cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. His generous spirit, sense of humor, and love for the outdoors will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Calling hours are Monday, October 20th from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue followed by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton.
