The joyful soul of Bonita Ellen Delgado of Worcester, was carried home on Sunday, February 8, 2009. Ms. Delgado was a life-long resident of Worcester, and was the daughter of Antonio and the late Ellen (Benson) Delgado. She was loved and raised by her maternal aunt and uncle Webster W. and Bessie Elwilda (Benson) Schuyler, who both pre-deceased her.

   Bonita is survived by a host of brothers, sisters, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, God children, and cherished friends, including those at her house of worship, The Unity Church of Central Massachusetts. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Stephen Delgado.

   Bonita graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester, and attended Morgan State University. She worked in Human Resources for many years.

   A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 13, at 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A time of visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the commencement of services at 11.
