Subscription Update Obituary

   Blanche M. (Saulnier) Mantelli, 89, of 105 Jean Ave., died Thursday, Jan. 22 at Christopher House in Worcester.

   She leaves her husband of 24 years, Albert B. Mantelli; three daughters: Andrea J. Grenier and her husband Donald of Spencer, Joanne M. MacMillan of Spencer and Janis A. Gebhardt and her husband Richard of Clinton; eight grandchildren, Darlene Hamilton, Laurieann Grenier, Kristine Carta, Heather Miller, Timothy and Kevin MacMillan, Richard Gebhardt, Kim Burgos and eleven great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her first husband, Edward Gelineau in 1980; two brothers, Henry and Leo Saulnier; two sisters, Dora Vigeant and Rita Saulnier; and her son-in-law, Paul MacMillan.

   Mrs. Mantelli was a merchandise distributor for the former Chess King Mfg. in Worcester before retiring in 1984.

   Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Cote) Saulnier. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church.

   The funeral will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, No. Brookfield Rd., E. Brookfield. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours were held on Friday, Jan. 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
