Subscription Update Obituary

Beverly J. Burnham, born on June 29, 1943, in Worcester, Massachusetts, and passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, in Punta Gorda, Florida, under the compassionate care of hospice at a memory care assisted living facility where had lived for the past nine months.

 

Beverly was the daughter of Carl “Willis” Andersen and Helena Andersen (Angies). She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Harold F. Burnham, in 2007. Beverly is remembered by her son, Dale R. Burnham, his wife Kathy, and their two daughters. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Bernie Burnham and his wife Marylin Burnham and their children and grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Judy Heist (Andersen). Beverly was predeceased by her sisters Marilyn Wall (Andersen) in 1976 and Ellen LaMura (Andersen) in 2017.

 

Beverly was a skilled bookkeeper. She began her professional journey at the William Paul House in Holden, Massachusetts, later contributing her bookkeeping expertise to the Worcester Regional School System. In her later years, she played an integral role in the Enchanting Shores Co-Op neighborhood in Naples, Florida.

 

Beverly enjoyed RV camping adventures with friends. She loved sewing, baking and square dancing too. She loved living her retirement years in Naples, FL.

 

Beverly and Harold will both be buried in Paxton, MA as they both had wished. The family would like to express their gratitude to both the memory care assisted living facility and to the hospice care team for all their compassion and support these past nine months.
