AUBURN Bertha M. (LaBarge) Cusson, 90, of 19 Gates Ct., died Saturday, Feb. 26th at home.

 

Her beloved husband, Rene D. “Speed” Cusson died in 2002.

She is survived by her three children, Joyce Roy of Auburn, Beverly Keenan of Leicester and William Cusson of Auburn; a brother, George LaBarge of Sturbridge; five sisters, Viola Sauriol and Beatrice Buron, both of Millbury, Irene Mayo, Gladys Desy and Lorraine Lapierrie all of Brookfield; three grandchildren, 2 great grandsons and a great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her brother, Clarence LaBarge.

She was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Clarence and Elphonsine (Beauvais) LaBarge and has lived in Auburn for many years.

She was a member of North American Martyrs Church and she loved to travel. She enjoyed creating and teaching ceramics for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn on Tuesday, March 1st from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Her funeral will be on Wednesday, March 2nd at 9 AM from the funeral home with a funeral Mass at 10 AM in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Dr., Auburn. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Ostomy Assoc., Inc. 19772 MacArthur Blvd., Suite 200, Irvine, CA 92612-2405 or VNA Care Inc. Hospice Program, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608.
