Subscription Update Obituary

    Bernard N. Plamondon, 78, of Worcester, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the Millbury Health Care Center.

    His wife of 25 years, Carol A. (Ducharme) Plamondon, died in 1977. His daughter, Karen Hamilton, died in 2006.

    He leaves his daughter, Cheryl Ann Norrman of Worcester; two granddaughters, Erica Siemaszko and her husband Michael of Millbury and Stephanie Norrman of Worcester; a great-grandson, M.J. Siemaszko of Millbury; two sisters, Lucille Beaudoin of Millbury and Theresa Gauthier and her husband Kenneth of Hubbardston; a brother-in-law, William Ambrose of Worcester, and many nephews and nieces.

    He was also predeceased by four sisters, Doris Victor, Loretta Wheat, Gertrude LeBlanc and Rita Ambrose, and two brothers, Joseph and Arthur Plamondon.

    Bernard was born in Webster, son of Joseph and Bertha (Lamoreaux) Plamondon, and grew up in Leicester.

    He worked for J.S. Prunier & Sons as a plasterer for 40 years, taking great pride in his work.

    He lived in Vero Beach, Florida for the most of the last 15 years, where he loved the warm weather and made some great friends. He enjoyed playing cards and was always up for a card game. He loved chocolate and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

    There will be a calling hour at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, on Saturday, Oct. 16 from 9 to 10 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at 11 a.m. at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave.(Rte 56), Paxton.
