Subscription Update Obituary

Beatrice R. (Garriepy) Bositis, 93, of Millbury died on Saturday, July 9th, 2011 in Saint Vincent Hospital.

Her husband John A. Bositis died in 1972. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth J. Bositis and his partner Michael Allen of Holden and Stephen H. Bositis of Millbury. Beatrice was born in Worcester, MA daughter of the late Henry and Alice (Dube) Garriepy and is predeceased by two brothers Albert and Edward Garriepy.

Mrs. Bositis worked for many years with her son at Bloomer’s Florist in Worcester and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She was active with the Millbury Council on Aging and enjoyed bowling and spending time gardening.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 14th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester, with a Mass at 11 AM in Our Lady of Lourdes Church 1290 Grafton Street Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 am on Thursday, July 14th in the funeral home.

Beatrice’s family requests that flowers be sent or memorial contributions be made to Preservation Worcester 10 Cedar Street Worcester, MA 01609 to honor her memory.
