Barbara J. (Mandell) Pearson, 79, of 8 Brentwood Drive died peacefully on Saturday, October 14, 2006 in UMass Memorial Health Care.

She leaves her husband of 59 years, Harold E. Pearson; two sons, Dennis C. Pearson and his wife Kay of West Boylston and David H. Pearson of Holden; a brother, Matt J. Mandell, Jr. of Camarillo, CA; three grandsons, Scott, Todd and Mark Pearson; a granddaughter, Erika Pearson; and a great granddaughter, Summer Pearson. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Matthew J. and Gladys O. (Levy) Mandell and lived 59 years in Holden.

Mrs. Pearson worked with her husband in their family business, Pearson Electric. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worcester and enjoyed wintering at their home in Vero Beach, Florida.

The funeral service for Mrs. Pearson will be private in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Friends of the Mercy Center, 25 West Chester St., Worcester, MA 01605.
