Subscription Update Obituary

      Barbara E. (Zinkievich) Revane, 69, of Rochdale, a section of Leicester, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 with her family by her side.

Barbara is survived by her devoted husband, Jack Revane and two daughters, Karen E. Davis and her husband Charles Thomas of Brookfield, and Kristin Gould and her husband Thomas Gould of Rutland. She also leaves four grandchildren; Brynn Gomez and her husband Jesse Gomez, Mikaela Davis, Alyssa Hutchins, and Tyler Grant. She is also survived by two brothers, Noel Zinkievich of Sutton, and Michael Zinkievich and his wife Deborah of Oxford. Barbara also leaves her aunt Mary Ford of Grafton.

Barbara was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Anthony and Katharine (Zook) Zinkievich.

Barbara graduated from Commerce High School. She held several office positions within the Worcester area, most recently with Donnegan Systems in Northboro and Davis Farmland in Sterling. She valued spending time with her family, particularly during Maine vacations and her winters in Florida with her husband. Her interests included home decorating and fashion design. She made many friends over the years with her kind and gentle ways. She had a special place in her heart for her little dog Brandee.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 9 from 4 to 7 PM in the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A Memorial will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 2 PM in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 52 Old Webster Road Oxford, MA, 01540. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oxford Kingdom Hall or the Dana Farber Cancer Institute located at 450 Brookline Avenue Boston, MA, 02215-5450.
