Subscription Update Obituary

   Barbara A. (Bridge) Kimball, 73, of Lebanon Hill Rd., died Friday, Oct. 31st, in the Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge, after an illness.

   She leaves her husband of 56 years, Robert J. Kimball; a daughter, Kathleen P. Allen of Falmouth; six sons, Paul R. Kimball of Woodstock, Gregory R. Kimball of Southbridge, Richard J. Kimball of Pomfret, CT, Donald A. Kimball of Hull, Daniel J. Kimball of Brookfield and Dennis J. Kimball of N. Brookfield; a brother, Raymond W. Bridge of Worcester; 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. She was predeceased by a son, Robert W. Kimball in 2003.

   She was born in Worcester the daughter of William and Marguerite (Hall) Bridge. Barbara worked as a nurse’s aide at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge and later at the former Liberty House Nursing Home in Southbridge for many years before retiring several years ago. After retirement Barbara enjoyed traveling.

   Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4th, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 10:00am in St. Anne’s Church, 16 Church St., Sturbridge. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Monday, Nov. 3rd, from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

   In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018 or in her son Robert’s memory to the National Foundation for Cancer Research, 4600 East West Highway, Suite 525, Bethesda, MD 20814.
