Subscription Update Obituary

B. Carolyn Moriarty, 65, of 148 Holden St. was stricken in her home and died yesterday in the Medical Center of Central Massachusetts – Memorial. She leaves her husband of 45 years, Frederick J. Moriarty, a son, Frederick P. Moriarty of Worcester, two daughters, Marolyn L. Moriarty of Boston and Maureen F. Halloran of Worcester; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Adolph H. and Sarah F. (Wright) Paul, and had lived here all her life. Mrs. Moriarty was a salesperson for Crown Bakery. She also was a lunch guard at the former Indian Hill Grammar School. She was a graduate of the former Commerce High School. Mrs. Moriarty was a founder and member of St. George’s Church. She sung in the choir and was a longtime member of the Women’s Guild of the Parish. The funeral will be held Friday from Arthur S. Manzi & Son Funeral Home, 179 Shrewsbury St., with Mass at 10 AM at St. George’s Church, 40 Brattle Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial donations may be made instead to St. George’s Church Choir, 40 Brattle St., Worcester, 01606.
