Arthur R. Norman, 79, formerly of Auburn, died Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the Dodge Park Rest Home, Worcester, following an illness.
His wife, Sophie M. (Czajkowski) Norman died in 1996.
He leaves his son, Steven J. Norman and his wife, Cheryl of Leicester; his two grandchildren, Matthew Norman and Krystal Courville; and 9 step-brothers and step-sisters. He was born in Chadwicks, NY; son of the late Raymond and Sarah Ann (Scott) Norman. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Arthur retired as a general foreman for the Commonwealth Gas Co., now NStar Gas, where he had worked for 35 years. He loved New England sports teams, especially the Red Sox, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Arthur's family on Tuesday, February 15th from 10-11 AM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. A service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
