Subscription Update Obituary

Arthur J. Rubino, 88, of 34 Shore Dr., died peacefully with his family at his side in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester on Saturday, Oct. 14.

He was the husband of Eleanor A. (Conti) Rubino who died in 1997. He leaves a son, Arthur F. "Butch" Rubino and his wife Karen of Spencer; a daughter, Judith A. Moulton and her husband Wayne of Oxford; two sisters, Laura Soloperto of Stuart, Fl., and Camille Stellato of Worcester; four grandchildren, Stacey M. Hamel of Oxford, Todd M. Rubino of Hoboken, N.J., Lt. Julie A. Rubino with the U.S. AirForce stationed in LasVegas, N.V.; and Brenda McFarlin of Toddville, Iowa; two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Andrew McFarlin; nieces and nephews.

Mr. Rubino was a machinist for 25 years at A & M Tool & Die Co. in Southbridge before retiring in 1980. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, and a member of St. Columba's Church in Paxton.

He was a very loving father and grandfather, who will be tremendously missed by all of his family.

Born in Monson, he was the son of Michael and Rose (Loconto) Rubino.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m in St. Columba's Church, 18 Richard's Ave., Paxton. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, Oct. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Worcester Medical Center Nephrology Dept., 123 Summer St., Suite 380, Worcester, 01608.
