Subscription Update Obituary

Arlene R. (Carlson) Currier, 86, formerly of Stoneleigh Road in Holden, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 in the Sandalwood Care and Rehabilitation Center, Oxford. Her husband of 43 years, Charles W. Currier predeceased her in 1992. She leaves a sister-in-law Mildred Carlson and several nephews and one niece. Her brothers, Adolph, Albert, Verner, and Einar E. Carlson and a sister, Valborg V. Roseen predeceased her.

Arlene was born in Worcester, daughter of Ernest and Emma (Johnson) Carlson. She graduated from Commerce High School, Becker Business School, and did clerical work in a Worcester pharmacy for many years. She attended Salem Covenant Church in Worcester.

Following cremation, a graveside service and burial will be held in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. There are no calling hours. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Worcester is directing arrangements.
