Subscription Update Obituary

     Antoinette C. (Bosse) “Toni” Dobson, 93, formerly of 100 Maple St., died Sunday, July 22, 2018 in The Hermitage, Worcester.

She was the wife of John H. Dobson who died in 2006. She leaves her step sons Paul Dobson of Charlton and Alfred Dobson of Southbridge, 4 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She leaves her nephew and longtime caretaker, Roland Bosse, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Leicester, her niece Audrey Bosse of Springfield, great nieces Stacey Alvarado and her husband Humberto of Oxford, and Cara Benoit and her husband Steven of Paxton, 7 great great nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends. She is predeceased by her brother Roland Bosse, Sr. in 1984.

Toni was a chief inspector at the American Optical Corp. in Southbridge for 30 years, retiring in 1978. She was an active member of the former St. Mary’s Church, sang in its choir and was a member of the Outreach Ministry.

She was a talented painter, loved painting ceramics, wood and enjoyed reading.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 25 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
