Subscription Update Obituary

     Anthony J. Doldo Sr., 66, of 1B Wilson St., a retired city parks caretaker, died Saturday night in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 33 years, Rose M. (DiPilato) Doldo; three sons, Army Sgt. Anthony J. Doldo Jr. of Clarksville,
Tenn., Marco G. and Michael F. Doldo, both of Worcester; a brother, Rocco Doldo of Auburn; two sisters, Beatrice George
and Ann Doldo, both of Worcester; a granddaughter; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of
Anthony and Sarah (Loftus) Doldo, and lived here most of his life. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the European-Middle Eastern                        theater. Mr. Doldo was a caretaker for the city Parks & Recreation Department for 20 years, most recently at East Park. He retired in 1978. He was a life
member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann’s Church and a member of Worcester Post 3, Italian-American War Veterans.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from Arthur S. Manzi & Son Funeral Home, 179 Shrewsbury St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours
are 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
