Anthony “Tony” Czyowski, 97, of Worcester, died Thursday, September 1st 2011 in Dodge Park Rest Home.
He leaves a brother, Thomas Sundy of Auburn; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, John Czyowski. He was born in Providence, RI, the son of Jacob and Sophia (Sundy) Czyowski and lived here for many years.
Mr. Czyowski was a forger and roll operator at Wyman Gordon Company for 33 years, retiring in 1976. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Pacific and Philippines area with the 30th C.B. Battalion.
Tony was a member of the Greendale YMCA, the Retired Men’s Club of Greendale, and the Local 2285 United Steelworkers Union.
The funeral is Tuesday, September 6th with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
