Anne R. Sak, 89, formerly of 28 Cargill Ave., died Thursday, August 20, 2009 in Beaumont Nursing Center, Worcester.

    She leaves two nieces, Jane Kwiatkowski of Spencer and Christine St. Laurent of Fitchburg; a nephew, Peter Sakalowsky of Madison, Ct., and several grand nieces, grand nephews, great-grand nieces and great-grand nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Peter Sakalowsky, Stephen Sak, John Sak and Anthony Francis. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Joseph and Anna (Didzulis) Sak.

    Miss Sak was a secretary many years for the Worcester Regional Transit Authority and retired many years ago. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and was a member of St. Casimir Church.

    The funeral will be held on Monday, August 24, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St, with a Mass at 10:00 am in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home on Monday, August 24 from 8:30 to 9:30 am.
