Subscription Update Obituary

   Anna M. Pepper, 78, of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 14th in    her home surrounded by her family.

   Anna is survived by her brother, Russell Pepper and his wife Janice, with whom he lived; a niece, Suzanne Pepper; several friends and other relatives. Anna was born in Worcester, her parents were the late Anthony and Anna (Abbruzzese) Pepper. She graduated from Worcester Girls Trade and lived in Worcester many years, before moving to Shrewsbury.

   Anna worked more than 12 years as a seamstress for the Glavin Center in Shrewsbury before retiring. She previously worked 26 years for the R.J. Toomey Company.

   Anna was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish and a former member of Our Lady of Loreto parish. She loved to sew and read.

   A funeral Mass will be held Today, Friday, November 16th at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association, 120 Thomas St., Worcester 01608. THE MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
