Subscription Update Obituary

     Anna M. (Cesnickas) Sluckis Mange, 92, of Worcester passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in Notre Dame Health Care Center. Her husband George H. Mange died in 1977. She is survived by two sons, Andrew J. Sluckis of Auburn and George M. Mange of Sutton; four grandsons, Andrew J. Sluckis, Jr., of Leicester, John Sluckis of Wimauma, FL, Christopher Mange of Sutton, Matthew Mange of Auburn; two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Andrew Sluckis of Leicester; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Andrew and Joseph Cesnickas and two sisters, Alice Simmons and Mary Cesnickas. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Andrew and Aniela (Cekanauskas) Cesnickas.
     Mrs. Mange retired from St. Vincent Hospital in 1983 after working thirteen years as a dietary aide. She graduated from the former Commerce High School. Anna was a member of the former St. Casimir Church and AARP. Her devotion to her faith and her family will be remembered by her family and friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Notre Dame Longterm Care and Hospice for their kindness provided to Anna.
     The funeral will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 from HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Friday, September 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Notre Dame Longterm Care-Activity Fund, 559 Plantation Street., Worcester, Ma 01605.
