Subscription Update Obituary

    Ann (DiLiddo) Richardson, 87, of Worcester passed away Tuesday, February 1st, 2011 with her devoted daughters by her side.

    Ann was born December 18th 1923 in Worcester a daughter of Sebastiano and Julia (Colangelo) DiLiddo. She grew up in Worcester, and has lived here all her life.

    Ann's husband of 42 years, Vincent R. Richardson, Sr. passed away in 1987. She is survived by her four children, Julia A. Richardson with whom she lived, Vincent R. "Jimmy" Richardson, Jr. and his wife Sheila in California, Sharon A. Jolicoeur of Shrewsbury, Gary W. Richardson and his wife Valerie of Worcester; a sister, Theresa M. Belsito of Worcester; six grandchildren, Kerri Scarborough and her husband Michael, Shaun Jolicoeur, Matthew and Michael Richardson, Christina and Shawn; seven great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews extended family and friends. A grandson, Vincent Richardson, III and three brothers, George, Joseph and Samuel DiLiddo all pre deceased her.

    Ann worked as a Stitcher for several clothing manufacturers in the Shrewsbury Street Area before retiring.

    She was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, and the Massachusetts Commission for the blind. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed frequent trips to Foxwoods. Ann also enjoyed the company of her family and friends.

    Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Thursday, February 3rd from 5 pm to 8 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A prayer service will be held Friday, February 4th at 11:30 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
