Subscription Update Obituary

   Andrew Wheeler, 55, of Worcester, died Thursday, December 6th, in UMass Memorial Hospital.

   He leaves his wife of 23 years, Alice L. (Madison) Wheeler; a son, Andrew Devaris Wheeler of Worcester; a daughter, Shila L. Wheeler of Boston; 2 brothers, Willie D. and Eugene Wheeler, both of Worcester; 4 sisters, Clancy R. Pittman and Dorothy J. Wheeler both of Worcester, Thelma R. Wheeler of Memphis, TN and Annie P. Attuemp of Newport News, VA; a granddaughter, Kiara Isabella Wheeler; several nephews and nieces. Two brothers, Columbus and John Wheeler predeceased him. He was born in Sunflower, MS the son of Ed and Maude (Peacock) Wheeler and was a graduate of South High School. Mr. Wheeler was employed by Salisbury Management for 10 years as a painting contractor until his retirement in 2004. He was a former member of Second Baptist Church and was one of the original children in its first Sunday School program. Mr. Wheeler loved his job, cooking, spending time with his family and friends and especially his granddaughter.

   A calling hour will be held from 11:00 AM until Noon, Monday, December 10th with a service to follow in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
