Amber Lyn Dejordy, 40, of Virgina, and formerly of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully, surrounded by love, on Wednesday, January 8, 2024, at her home.
Born in California, she was the daughter of Sherriann Wilson and Robert Dejordy. Amber is now reunited with her grandfather Herbert Wilson, and her grandparents Richard and Shirely Dejordy, who welcome her with love and open arms. Amber is survived by her daughter Morgan Pugsley, her son Mason Rodgers, her sisters, Ashley Allen and Emily Clark, her brothers, Jacob Oliver and Mark Mero, and her grandmother Nancy Wilson. She had a great love for her dogs, Chico and Pete, who will miss her greatly.
Amber was known for her great sense of humor, generosity, and kindness. Amber was extremely hardworking, often taking on multiple jobs or extended hours to support her coworkers. Amber was the store manager at the Deltaville Market, where she was greatly appreciated for all of her hard work and dedication. Amber was always a giver, making sure that the people around her always had what they needed.
Amber was immensely proud of her children and found great joy in her daughter’s achievements of becoming a nurse in the future, fulfilling a dream they both shared. Amber often spent time talking about her children and their wonderful accomplishments. Her love for her children was limitless. Amber was always making someone laugh, rarely in a bad mood and often made funny faces in all of her pictures.
Amber made an incredible impact on the lives of so many people. She will be remembered for her beautiful heart, her wonderful friendships, and her constant generosity. Amber was described as “Always able to make me laugh and smile” by her mother, “Having the most caring heart” by her sister Ashley, “Always making silly faces and laughing to brighten the mood” by her sister Emily, “The person who introduced me to the medical field and encouraged me to follow my dreams of becoming a nurse, fulfilling both of our greatest passion” by her daughter Morgan, and “The person who will always make me smile when I am at my lowest and the person who I will always make sure is proud” by her son Mason.
Amber will be greatly missed, always remembered, and forever loved by all of her family members and friends. A private burial will be held for the immediate family.
Her family would like to extend never-ending gratitude to all who loved Amber.
