Amanda Leigh Speed: Amanda is the beloved first child of Derek and Jennifer (Reardon) Speed. She was stillborn on June 4 1990. Her maternal grandparents are Carol (Morris) and Richard P. Reardon. “Papa” Reardon died Sept. 30 1993 and is buried in WCMP. Her Aunt Maureen Reardon died May 8 1994 and is buried near Richard. She is survived by her Aunt Catherine (Reardon) and cousins James and Jessica Nalewajk; and her Aunt and Uncle Gail (Reardon) and Ronald Alden and cousins Michael Steven and Timothy Alden. Amanda’s paternal grandparents are Robert and Bette (Josephson) Mertzlufft and Ronald and Pauline Speed. Her great grandparents John and Margaret Josephson are buried here as well as great-uncle John Josephson Jr. Amanda is a guardian angel for her younger sisters Katherine Megan and Susannah. Although we never had the chance to know Amanda in life she is always a part of us. The short time she spent before birth with Mom and Dad are 8 of the most treasured months of our lives. We will always love her.
