Subscription Update Obituary

     Alice D. (Gibree) Howard, 95, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in Millbury Healthcare. Her husband, John F. Howard, predeceased her in 1976.
     She is survived by her son, Paul F. Howard and his wife Diane of Dudley; three sisters, Agnes M. Novia of Worcester, Violette M. Davis of Millbury and Barbara J. Sestito and her husband of Worcester; three grandchildren, Michelle Hicks and her husband Brian of Charlton, Michael Howard and his wife Lisa of Charlotte, NC and Mark Howard and his wife Rachelle of Newton; four great grandchildren, Brianna, Keegan, Drew and Michael; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Everett and Richard Gibree and Rose McKenna. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Robert E. and Delia G. (Perry) Gibree and has lived here all her life.
     Family and Friends will gather for Calling Hours on Friday, October 18, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by her Funeral Service at 11 a.m., all occurring in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
