Subscription Update Obituary

   Alma L. (Provencher) Lefebvre, 80, of Worcester, died Wednesday, April 8 at Odd Fellows Home, 104 Randolph Road.

   Her husband, Raymond R. Lefebvre, died in 1987. She leaves three children, Kathleen C. Wambach and her husband Larry, Linda A. Chaput and her husband Bruce, and Raymond E. Lefebvre and his wife LynnAnne, all of Worcester; six grandchildren, Heather Krone and her significant other Andrew Cariglia, Amanda Frykholm and her husband Phillip, Christopher, Brendan, Adam, and Samantha Lefebvre; three great-grandchildren, Anthony Cariglia, Nicholas and Alexander Frykholm, all of Worcester; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by six brothers and sisters, Ralph Provencher, Oscar Provencher, Marie Butrym, Theresa Lainer, Dolores White, and Jane Ostrazewski. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Peter J. and Alma (St. Germain) Provencher, and lived in Worcester all her life.

   Alma was a short-order cook for Newport Creamery. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Rebecca's Club, the Red Hat Society at Odd Fellows.

   A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 14 at 10:00 am at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave (Rt 56), Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, April 13, from 5 to 7 pm at RICE FUNERAL HOME, 300 Park Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Diabetes research, American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
