Alice M. (Garceau) Manion, 87, of Greenwood Street died Friday, Feb. 15 in UMass-Memorial Hospital after an illness.
Her husband of 61 years Norman F. Manion, Sr. died in 1999. She leaves three sons Norman F. Manion, Jr. and his wife Susan of Tustin, CA, Ronald G. Manion and his wife Kathleen of West Boylston, Michael D. Manion of Leicester, a daughter Janet A. Coyle of Leicester, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Manion was born in Three Rivers, Quebec, Canada daughter of Albert and Josephine Garceau. She attended High School in Taunton, MA. She was a member of St. Catherine of Sweden Church in Worcester. She was an avid and talented crafts person and gardener.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19 from MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 759 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
