Subscription Update Obituary

    Alice M. (Davis) Doyle, 93, died Saturday, May 30 in the St. Francis Home. She leaves three children, Ronald A. Doyle and his wife Joan of Worcester, Rita F. Swett of Leicester and James M. Doyle and his wife Carolyn of Leicester; a sister, Dorothy Beauregard of Royal Palm Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a daughter Ellen M. Grenier in 1983, a son-in-law, David Swett, Sr. in 1995, a grandson David Swett, Jr. in 2006, two brothers, Hubert and Bob Davis and two sisters, Helen Blondin and Barbara Stevenson.

    She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Ernest E. and Mary (McCormack) Davis. Alice was a Nurse’s Aide at Grafton State Hospital and later the Glavin Center, where she retired in 1981. She was a member of the Retired State Municipal Workers Union.

    The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 2 at 11:00 AM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service in the funeral home.
