Subscription Update Obituary

    Alice Irene (Berglund) Ruffo, 83, died Friday, October 31, 2008, in the Lutheran Healthcare Center. 

   She leaves her husband of 57 years, John A. Ruffo; two sons, Mark J. Ruffo and Jay A. Ruffo, both of Worcester; a sister, Betty Anne Bisnette of Tucson, AZ; a brother, Karle R. Berglund of Brookfield; 5 grandchildren, Nikki Ruffo, Joseph Ruffo, Amy Panechelli, Sara Ruffo, and Anthony Ruffo; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.

   She was predeceased by 5 sisters, Helen Bergman, Gladys Landquist, Barbara Bergman, Nancee Dennis, and Joyce Berglund and 2 brothers, Leonard and Francis Berglund. Alice was born in Worcester, daughter of Thyra Elizabeth (Johnson) and Bror Helge Leonard Berglund. She was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church.

   Funeral Services will be private. Please omit flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the Lutheran Healthcare Center Building Fund, 26 Harvard Street, Worcester MA 01609.
