Subscription Update Obituary

Alice C. (Belmore) Dupuis, 90, formerly of 328 Mill St., Worcester, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Oakdale Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center. Her husband of 60 years, Ernest L. Dupuis, died in 2004.

She leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Arthur DeSantis of Paxton; one grandson, Brian DeSantis of Paxton, and several nieces and nephews. Her sister, Alma Tatro, predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles and Eva (Fontaine) Belmore and lived in Worcester most of her life. She graduated from Commerce High School and Becker Secretarial School.

Alice was an administrative assistant at State Mutual Life Assurance Company. She was a member of the Froshian Club of Shrewsbury. She enjoyed travel and spending time on Cape Cod.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, July 12, from Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, Worcester, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant St, Worcester. Burial will be at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, July 12 from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tornado Relief Fund, c/o Pat Gauthier, American Red Cross of Central Mass, 2000 Century Drive, Worcester, MA 01606-1256.

The family would like to thank the staff at Oakdale Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center in West Boylston for the excellent care they gave Alice.
