Subscription Update Obituary

    Alden C. Lindquist, 81, passed away Monday, September 14.

    He leaves his nephew, Keith Rexford and his companion Judith Casalinuova of Worcester; his late niece Sharon Mars' and her husband, Michael Mars of Leicester; two grand nieces, three grand nephews and one great nephew. He was also predeceased by his sister Doris Rexford.

    He was born in Worcester the son of Carl H. and Hulda C. (Erickson) Lindquist and was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War. Alden worked at Corrugated Box Company in Westboro for 35 years and he was a long time member of the International Brotherhood of Paper Mill Workers. Alden brought pure joy with his sense of humor to his family and friends and he was always with a smile. He will be missed by everyone he touched.

    A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, September 18 at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Autumn Village Brookhaven Hospice Program, 25 Oriol Drive, Worcester, MA 01605. Arrangements are under the care of CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street.
